Katikati Primary School’s Breakfast Club Needs Support

Katikati Primary School is facing uncertainty regarding its breakfast and lunch schemes. The initiatives are crucial for providing meals to students, especially those in need.

Previously funded by Apata Group Ltd, the school is now in search of a new sponsor to keep these vital programs running. The breakfast club uses around 16 loaves of bread each day to serve meals like toast with various spreads. Principal Andrea Nicholson emphasized how crucial this support is for students' well-being and focus throughout the school day.

The breakfast club operates three days a week, feeding about 20 children daily. Community support is essential to ensure the continuation of this service for the students. For inquiries, contact the school at 07 549 0105.
