Katikati A&P Show Marks 100 Years of Community Celebration

The Katikati A&P Show has reached a remarkable centenary, having entertained locals for 100 years with only a small number of cancellations due to bad weather or the pandemic. The event remains a firm favourite on the local calendar, drawing crowds with a wide range of activities and entertainment.

This year's show featured reptile handler Graeme Hannah from Reptile World, who brought along several cold-blooded creatures for the public to meet, while Bex Tasker thrilled attendees with a sheep agility display. Other highlights included a pet lamb competition, highland dancing, bagpipes, dancing ladies, fast-paced woodchopping competitions, and live music.
