Local Community Backs Adaptive Surfing Day at Waihi Beach

The annual adaptive surfing day at Waihi Beach was a huge success, with strong community support and participation. Volunteers played a vital role in assisting participants with disabilities.

Organised by Parafed Waikato and the Waihi Beach Surf School, the event saw 17 surfers enjoying the waves. Volunteer Dani Hudson noted the determination of young participants, emphasizing the event's positive impact on community spirit.
